Sharon Mor Yosef, was born in Jerusalem in 1975 and grew up in the Jordan Valley. At 15, he joined the well-established youth magazine “Ma’ariv Lano’ar” as a photographer and journalist.
His input was prolific: hundreds of articles and pictures.
By the age of 19, he had joined the Israeli army where he served as a photographer and editor of one of the military papers.
When he had completed his military service, he joined a production company in Tel Aviv.
There he produced TV commercials, video clips, prime-time programs and large-scale special events for television.
In 2002 Sharon decided to follow his heart and immigrate to the Netherlands.
He enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague to study photography.
Success was immediate: he skipped a year during his studies, the first student in the history of the college to do so. Sharon’s work is a delicate mix of art and photography.
He strives to capture strong emotions in a sensitive way. From time to time, to replenish his soul, he likes to dip into fashion photography and to create multimedia exhibitions that combine video art, sound and photography.
His last exhibition, “Universal Woman” (a mixed production of sound, photography and video art), took place in The Hague, in October 2005.
To date, Sharon has had work published in several interior design, architecture and fashion magazines.
